The library and first floor of the museum are accessible; however, the museum’s basement and the Tramp House have stairs. The walking tour will cover 1/2 mile total and take about 1 1/2 hours. The event will be held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Participants may also drive to the Tramp House instead of walking the .2 miles.

Description
Learn the stories behind the books! This tour and short urban walk (.5 mile, 1.5 hours) begin at the Library where you’ll see beautiful, antique stained-glass windows and learn about Charles Flint, library benefactor. The tour continues to the Lura Woodside Watkins Museum, home of the Middleton Historical Society, to view items from by-gone eras, and then to the Tramp House – one of the few remaining tramp houses from the Civil War era.
