Description

Learn a bit of Middleton history on this tour and short urban walk beginning at the Flint Public Library, then to The Estey Tavern and the historic Tramp House for an inside look. We will end at the Lura Woodside Watkins Museum (adj. to the library) with time to view historic artifacts.

Special Instructions: The library and the Lura Woodside Watkins Museum are handicap accessible. The Estey Tavern and the Tramp House are NOT handicap accessible. The walking tour will cover 1/2 mile total, and will take about 1 hour. The Tramp House is .2 miles from the Library. The event will be held rain or shine. Dress accordingly. Please note: participants who wish to skip the walk may still tour The Flint Public Library and The Lura Woodside Watkins Museum.
