The library is handicap accessible, however the tavern and Tramp House are not. The walking tour will cover 1/2 mile total and take about 1 1/2 hour. The event will be held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Participants may also drive to the Tramp House instead of walking the .2 miles.

Description
Learn the stories behind the books! This tour and short (.5 mile, 1.5 hours) urban walk begins at Flint Public Library. Here you will see beautiful, antique stained-glass windows and learn about Charles Flint, the library benefactor. The tour continues to Estey Tavern, built in the 1700s and nicely restored to show many of its original features, and the Tramp House, one of the few remaining tramp houses from the Civil War era.
