Get your hands on history and use a quill pen, make a hand-dipped candle, use a mortar and pestle to grind spices, and more! These are activities you would do at our Colonial Life Program if you were participating in a school or scout field trip to the Wenham Museum, but in a family-friendly format suitable for kids aged 3 to 93. Kids and adults will get a little taste of the chores that 17th and 18th century colonists did, and you’ll even be able to take your candles, spices, etc. home with you. Yes, it’s history, but make it fun!
