Enjoy free, self-guided tours and the picturesque grounds overlooking the Atlantic coast. Hammond Castle Museum is the home of John Hays Hammond Jr., one of the most prolific inventors of his time. The architectural style is a mix of a medieval castle, a French chateau, and a Gothic cathedral. On display is his list of patents and his work with radio control and guided torpedoes. Hammond Castle Museum is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is not handicapped accessible.
