Description
Join local history buff, Scott Jewell, on a walking tour around Ipswich. Scott will discuss the fascinating history of the town’s former bustling port. Once a hub of maritime trade and commerce, the fate of the port was intricately tied to the rise and fall of the town’s 18th century economy and the fortunes (or misfortunes) of many of its residents.
Special Instructions
The event will take place rain or shine. Please wear footwear appropriate for up to an hour long walk and dress for the weather.

The event will take place in the event of rain, but in the event of extreme weather conditions (thunder/lightning etc.) the walk will be cancelled. Cancellations will be announced on the Ipswich Museum Facebook page.
