Description

When you think about the cold winters of New England, imagine living on a rock a mile off the coast. We will take you there through journal entries of the Lightkeepers, a small exhibit including one or two original journals, a virtual lecture with PowerPoint, and a virtual presentation. Drive along the north side of Nahant to get a picture-perfect view of Egg Rock, and imagine yourself living there through Nor’easters as well as on calm summer days, where a trip to get groceries and supplies could be an adventure.

*Please Note: The lecture for this event has been moved from in-person to virtual. A link to the lecture recording will be posted on the Nahant Historical Society website as soon as it is available. Thank you for your understanding!
