Description

The Hutchinson Family Singers were a popular 19th-century group known for its political, social, humorous, heartfelt, and theatrical compositions. Local historian and author of “Frederick Douglass: The Lynn Years,” Tom Dalton, returns to the museum to discuss his most recent book, “The Hutchinsons of High Rock.” Learn about the primary sources such as diaries, letters, and newspapers Dalton delved into during the three-year project and gain new insight into this well-known abolitionist family.
