Can you guess what was invented in Swampscott?

Come to the Sir John Humphrey Memorial House and find out! We will have 3 tours that help you learn the history of Swampscott. From being in an early colonial house and seeing its contents, explore all that Swampscott has been and who lived here. We have paneling that show Native American decorations, witch deterrent markings, and more. Our house is on the National Register. Highlights in Swampscott’s history include fishing, summer estates, noted resorts, boating, early airplane development, etc. tours will be held at 10:15am, 11:15am & 12:15pm.
