Description

During this tour, we will visit the small Old Hill Burying Ground African American section where 18 unmarked graves were discovered by ground penetrating radar. Granite stones labeled Once Known honor early Black residents’ memories. Also we will visit gravesites of clockmakers, the crew of the Pocahontas shipwreck, and American Revolution soldiers.

Special Instructions

Comfortable shoes, rough terrain, not wheelchair accessible. Parking on Auburn Street.
