A walking tour around Marblehead’s earliest harbor (from 1629 to about 1700), where Native Americans had spent summers for hundreds of years before. Stunning views of the coves and islands at the northeast tip of the mainland peninsula. Early history, social history, fishing history and some architectural history. A half mile or so total, over 2 hours. A few places to sit, but NO restrooms. Visitors can explore Old Burial Hill afterward, or eat lunch at the Barnacle or The Landing restaurants just a few blocks walk from the end of the tour.
Special Instructions
