In 2020 Shawsheen Village celebrated it’s 100th anniversary. To acknowledge this milestone, we developed tours that explore the unique planning, design and beginnings of the village in the 1920’s. This walking tour will focus on the area known as “white” Shawsheen because of it’s uniformly white painted clapboard homes; it’s development and what it was like to live and work in the village.
