This is a ride on a stone dust trail. Skinny road bike tires and larger are OK. One way to Karl’s Sausage Kitchen (if you want to stop in for some German beer on tap, great desserts (you earned it) and sandwiches) in Danvers is almost 9 miles. R/T is 18 miles. Since you cannot get lost ride as long as you wish. See the sights of the Ipswich River and vernal pools, explore the Swamp Walk both for great views without vehicular traffic. Along the way, if participants wish, Joe Geller will offer some history of the trail from the 1850’s to present.
