Description

DIY Event: The Patton Family purchased the property now-known-as the Patton Homestead in 1928 and lived here through 2012. The Pattons had a tradition of planting a tree in honor of life events for family members. Explore the named trees around the Homestead in this self-guided tour. After, take a walk around the wooded trail behind the pond, following the Ipswich River, and out along Asbury Street.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: The map will be posted on Facebook and Instagram (search @PattonHomestead on both) and at pattonhomestead.org. The Patton Homestead is open sunrise through sunset each day. Parking is available in the upper parking lot between the house and barns or in the larger, lower lot next to the garden.
