While the trails are well maintained and the terrain moderate, sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Long pants, shirts and insect repellent is strongly encouraged. This is an all-weather event, please dress accordingly. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Description
This hike will feature simultaneous hikes giving visitors a chance to explore two routes through historic Den Rock Park. Hikers will leave from the park main entrance on Rt 114 in Lawrence, or the Fleming Ave trailhead in Andover. Both hikes will explore mature forests, wetlands and the Shawsheen River. The Den Rock Conservation Area is a 120 acre conservation area containing Lawrence’s Den Rock Park and privately managed conservation land owned by Essex Country Greenbelt.
