Description
Embark on an enriching journey through the footsteps of the remarkable founder of the Christian Science Church in Boston, Mary Baker Eddy. Trace her journey back to the humble city of Lynn where it all began. For seven years, Lynn was crucial for her development and teachings, where profound insights were forged, which shaped the enduring lessons that resonate with people until this day. The tour begins where her life was turned upside down. Then, we’ll stroll the same streets she once walked towards her residence later in life.
Special Instructions
Please bring comfortable shoes for the walking tour. The tour is 0.8 miles towards her house and back to the starting point.
To visit the Mary Baker House Museum after the walking tour, please contact Longyear Museum directly at (617) 278-9000 to arrange your visit. The visit to the Lynn house is paired with a visit to her house in Swampscott. However, you’re not required to visit both.
