Rope; used for rigging on ships was a maritime necessity but was also needed in everyday life. The sights, smells, and sounds of rope making were an everyday part of a working waterfront. Join us at the Salem Armory Regional Visitor Center at 2 New Liberty Street, in Salem to try your hand at making rope and earn yourself a Junior Ranger Badge.
