10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Informal drop-in conversations about Marblehead's few Loyalists, or Tories, during the American Revolution. Find out why there were so few (only about a dozen) in this zealously rebel (Patriot) town of nearly 5,000 people and 950 families (living in about 525 houses), and who some of them were. Part of " 'Headers in the Revolution."
(For those who are particularly interested, find out more about them in an illustrated talk at the Marblehead Museum on Sept 10 at 7 pm, before Trails & Sails begins. Paid reservations are required for that.)
