Description

COME BIRDING WITH US!! You will be guided by local experts from the Merrimack Valley Bird Club as you explore the verdant forests, cool ponds, and vibrant marshes of Harold Parker State Forest. We will help you get eyes and ears on wildly interesting birds that call this forest “home” and several species passing through on their fascinating migrations to distant lands in Central and South America. Youth and adults are welcome regardless of skill level. Closed toe shoes and binoculars are recommended but not required. No pets please.

Special Instructions

Closed toe shoes, insect repellent, and binoculars are recommended but not required.

Only a portion of the walk may be on a paved surface. Trails will have some rocks, roots, and possible mud.

Weather Restrictions

The Bird Club will monitor weather closely the day before the walk. All registrants will be contacted if we need to postpone the event and will be provided with a rain date at that time.
