Meet at Grace Oliver Beach for a historical shoreline walk. For restrooms, it’s a 15 minute walk out to Fort Sewall after the tour. And/or enjoy lunch at The Barnacle Restaurant after the tour. Then it’s a very scenic 15 minute walk back to your cars from there or from Fort Sewall.

Description
A walking tour around Marblehead’s earliest harbor (1629 – c. 1700) at the NE tip of the mainland peninsula. Stunning views of the coves and islands. Native Americans summered all around the shoreline for hundreds of years before non-conformist English settlers arrived. Early history, social history, fishing history, architectural history. A half mile total over 2 hours Explore Old Burial Hill afterward, or eat at The Barnacle or The Landing restaurants a few blocks walk from the tour’s end. Street parking, few places to sit, and NO restrooms.
