Essex National Heritage Area cordially invites you to attend the kickoff for the 25th Anniversary of Trails & Sails on Tuesday, July 28.
The event begins at 9 a.m. at Armory Park, New Liberty Street, Salem (between the Peabody Essex Museum and the Salem Armory Visitor Center).
Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo, Essex Heritage CEO Annie Harris, and other dignitaries will make a few brief remarks. These will be followed by the presentation of citations in honor of the 25th Anniversary from representatives of the State House and Congress.
Attendees can learn more about Essex Heritage National Area, and Trails & Sails partners Danvers Historical Society, Mass Audubon, Marblehead Museum, North Andover Historical Society, Salem Sound Coastwatch, and Peabody Essex Museum.
All attendees will receive a complimentary print copy of the comprehensive Trails & Sails guidebook, listing events scheduled from Sept. 12-26.
