Learn about the history of clamming in our area, how marsh and clam health are intertwined, and the rules and regulations around getting out to dig. Then, get a feel for the basics and dig your own clams. This program is hosted at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, and led by Backcountry Hunters & Angler’s board member Pat Saunders, a 6th generation shell fisherman. Must purchase Town permit to participate.
